Álex Márquez has made a great start from second on the grid and has dominated for the first seven laps before ceding his position to Miguel Oliveira (second at the end of the race) on lap eight.
Two laps later Marquez has dropped to third place and then has focused on making its strategy to make the podium. In the final laps he has resisted all attacks by Marcel Schrotter and Xavi Vierge to take home third place, which is also his fourth podium in seven races.
After seven Grands Prix, Marquez is now third in the World Cup with 94 points .
"It was a very long race and a lot warmer than yesterday, so I suffered a lot on my Kalex to have a good feeling with the front in these conditions. However, I could add some very important points. In Moto2 you have to always push to the maximum and be consistent in every race. I want to dedicate this podium to Andreas Perez Manresa ".
